The Masterclass, addressing
composers, researchers, conservatory and university students,
intends to deepen into some of the key topics in the dialog between
artistic expression and technology.
The objective is to supply instruments of thought and evidences on
the creative approach and on the methods of work coming from
neighboring areas. The lectures treat the composition of sound,
space and light under the artistic and scientific aspects and their
application in the contemporary artistic creation.
With regard to the title of the masterclass, the word 'space' may be
even considered as a metaphor of the 'space of representation' as
this concept comes often out in the mathematical models of
perception mechanisms. This is the reason why we want to dedicate a
section of the masterclass to the most recent researches about
perception in the related fields of vision and audition.
The masterclass allow conservatory students to gain one credit.
